Cruise Ship - Wine, Gin & Whisky Shore Excursion
On this small group tour (max 6 guests), you will discover the incredible beauty of the region and sample amazing wines, gins and whiskys. Join us as we stroll through 2 beautiful vineyards, a gin & a whisky distillery and learn about the local grape varieties and rich history of the area. Learn about the whisky, gin and wine making process. We will also stop for a quick lunch and stop to sample some Tassie cheese so you can experience some local cuisine.
Cruise Ship - Wine Shore Excursion
Discover the incredible beauty and flavour of the region and sample amazing wines. Join us as we stroll through beautiful vineyards and learn about the local grape varieties and rich history of the area. On this small group tour (max 6 people), we will visit 3 to 4 vineyards and enjoy samples of some of the region’s best wines. We will drop into Richmond a historic village and walk on Australia's oldest bridge and visit “Sweets and Treats”, a traditional-style Lolly shop.
Cruise Ship - Port Arthur Shore Excursion
This tour departs from Macquarie Wharf Ship terminal in Hobart. This is a personal tour for a maximum of 6 guests. This tour is designed for you to get a greater appreciation of this incredible historic site. We will pick you up from your cruise ship and drive directly to the stunning Tasman Peninsula stopping to view the panoramic views of the coastline from the Blow Hole Lookout. When we arrive at Port Arthur our knowledgeable guide will escort you around the site. The tour will also include the Isle of the Dead cruise. Time permitting, on the way back to the ship we will stop to at the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry to taste some amazing hand-forged chocolates and visit the Port Arthur Lavender Farm.
Cruise Ship - Tassie Devil, Mount Wellington, Richmond Shore Excursion.
This tour is perfect for cruise ship passengers who only have a short time to experience Hobart. The tour will start with a drive through beautiful landscape to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (Entry Fee included in cost of tour), where you will have the opportunity to explore this amazing sanctuary in addition to a short, guided tour. Bonorong is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation of native Australian animals. On average, the sanctuary contains about 200 animals from 25 different species including Tassie Devils. We will then drive to Richmond where we will have the opportunity to grab some local cuisine and stroll to the galleries, tea shops, craft boutiques and of course the old-style lolly shop & Australia's Oldest Bridge. Next stop will be at Mount Wellington where you will take in the beautiful scenery at 1,200 metres above sea level, showcasing Hobart before returning back to your ship with plenty of time for you to board before departure. Time permitting, we will pop into Wicked Cheese to sample some award-winning Tasmanian cheeses.
